The event will be run on Saturday 7th July with Scrutineering as usual on Friday
afternoon / evening. The host town will be Llandovery with Rally
HQ at the Castle Hotel.
The reason for this change was that
in 2004 the Royal Welsh Showground who have been our hosts for the last
five years felt they could not accommodate us that year as it was
the 100th anniversary of the Royal Welsh Show and they are
planning extended activities which may even run into Friday (our Scrutineering day).
Llandovery seemed to be the most suitable place to relocate but
again due to a clash with show events and accommodation we had to
accept a change of date.
However it may be that this change is for the best.
The Hotel, Llandovery Town Council, and Carmarthenshire County
Council have been very helpful, we have even been offered the use
of the Town Crier to publicise the event! Watch this space for
further details.
